COMMISSION JEWELRY

Creating commissioned pieces of jewelry is one of the main pillars of this house. Here you can see some examples: new jewels designed from "zero" and also transformation and/or reuse of materials and gemstones.

There are endless cases of bespoke jewels. Each person is different and so are their projects. If you have metal, an idea that haunts you, old jewels or pieces you no longer use, some elements you want to preserve, etc... come visit me in the store in Burgos or book an appointment with me here.

PHOTO 1. RE-LOVING A PIECE OF JEWELRY

Emi had had a pair of white gold and amethysts earrings for many years that she practically never wore (the upper part of the earrings in the image). She did not know what to do with them but she was certain she wanted to use the amethysts in another jewel. When she contacted me I suggested that, instead of designing a complete new jewel, to first add these large organic cones, as pendants hanging from the original earrings and see if this new style suited her. There was no need to do more. She loved it and now she wears them often.

PHOTO 2. CUSTOM-MADE EARRINGS

A client wanted a pair of earrings that would look well on her ears (she has some difficulties with the holes in her earlobes and earrings usually do not fit her). She wanted diamonds. I suggested several ideas and tried different pieces on her (same size diamonds, different sizes...) finally the one that fit her better was a graduated diamond cascade with ver strong claws. I also suggested to put a hook on the back so she could hang different gemstones, as if they were different earrings. In the image you see the diamond earrings and on the side a pair of mint tourmalines to hang.

My client wanted a mediterranean Noble Coral 10mm round beads size necklace. This is such a rare and special piece that i created an artistic gold clasp so it would be part of the whole piece. (box necklace clas with safety added chain).

PHOTO 4. REUSE, TRANSFORM AND TRANSCEND

We accumulate and store memories in the jewels we receive througout our lives (from the moment we are born) but we usually do not use them all (some we don't even like...) and they end up becoming a silent "burden". This was the case of this client. She brought me all the jewels she had and after our conversation she decided that she only wanted a new bracelet. She likes the jewels I design and the textures I create, mostly the more archaeological and sculptural ones, that is why she gave me complete freedom to do what I felt was better for her. Technically I approached this project in such a way that all the gold she had in her jewels was reused in the brazelet and with it, its memories were transmuted.

PHOTO 5. IBIZA IN MY HEART (AND IN MY WRIST)

The love of this client for the "pitiusa" island and in particular for the color of its water led her to order me two projects to design and create bracelets to wear the spirit of "Ibiza" all year round. She gave me gold she had and first I made the three bracelets you see in the picture (the island shape in yellow gold and fire enamels) she wanted to give as presents, and after that the second project was another bracelet for herself featuring the island's silhouette carved in turquoise and surrounded by a topaz, sapphire, diamonds and emeralds pavé to create the water effect.

FASHION, MOVIES & EDITORIAL PHOTOFRAPHY

I collaborate with designers, clothing stores, fashion designers, photographers... in fashion runways, brand catalogues, movies, etc... There are different ways to collaborate, I can design pieces of jewelry (or prototypes) and specific jewels for brands, themes or scenes or I can participate in styling projects with jewelry I already have.

I design and create prototypes and pieces of jewelry for companie's jewelry business units in different sectors: fashion, artistic reproductions, etc... and also for cultural institutions and museums. Companies, organizations and institution also commission different pieces of jewelry (badges, cufflinks, key-rings, letter openers... for custom gifts, memorials or other events) as well as scultural interpretation of their logos and brands.

Magical reverie that comes to life in objetcs, daily common places such as door handles, furniture, sculptural and allegorical ceilings with trees and flowers...
